BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's tennis team earned its second straight shutout victory with a 6-0 win over visiting Penn State Abington in non-conference action in Timothy Breidegam Fieldhouse Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened

  • The Hounds swept the doubles action for a 3-0 edge. The tandem of junior Justin Szaro and sophomore Steve Schneider opened the contest with an 8-0 win at third doubles while freshmen Anthony Ronca and Wyatt Marshall recorded an 8-2 triumph at first doubles. Freshman Zachary Lebby and Ronny Pimentel Ferrer completed the sweep with an 8-2 victory at second doubles
  • Lebby made it 4-0 with a 6-1, 6-1 win at third singles while Ronca won the match with a 6-1, 6-2 triumph at first singles. Szaro was in his final point when Ronca captured the fifth point, so Szaro finished up with a 6-2, 6-3 win at second doubles for the final contest of the day
