MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. --- Moravian College junior guard Maddie Capuano has been honored on the 2019 D3hoops.com All-Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team.

Capuano was one of three team's captains that helped guide the Greyhounds to a 16-10 overall record this season and an 8-6 mark in Landmark Conference action as the Greyhounds earned the four seed in the 2019 Landmark Conference Tournament, the Hounds' 18th straight and 29th overall postseason appearance under the guidance of Head Coach Mary Beth Spirk.

Capuano, who was selected to the Landmark All-Conference First Team for a second straight winter, led the Moravian in scoring at 20.7 points per game, and her 539 points in 2018-19 were the seventh most in a single season in school history. Capuano also topped the Greyhounds with 67 assists and 65 three-pointers to go with 30 steals.

"This recognition is quite an honor for Maddie," noted Head Coach Mary Beth Spirk. "She had a terrific year on the court and to be recognized for this award is a special accomplishment. The best thing about this award is that Maddie is a junior, so we have the opportunity to have another year with her. Congratulations to Maddie, well deserved."

Capuano heads to her senior season 12th school history with 1,247 points and tied for fourth with 166 career three-pointers.
