TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College sophomore guard Madison Amy has been selected to the 2021 Landmark Women's Basketball All-Conference First Team while junior guard Kayla Yoegel and sophomore guard Morgan Amy have been honored on the All-Conference Second Team.

The trio helped the Greyhounds to a 6-4 mark this winter in the shortened 2021 season including a 73-69 victory over Juniata College in the Landmark Conference Tournament Play-In game earlier this month.

Madison Amy was the squad's leading scorer this year as she averaged 14.1 points per game to go along with a team-high 22 three-pointers. Amy also added 23 assists, 22 rebounds and 21 steals while averaging 28.4 minutes per contest in nine games. She has 269 points, 80 rebounds, 60 assists, 47 three-pointers and 46 steals in 35 career contests with the Blue & Grey including 10 starts.

"Madison's First Team All-Conference honor is well deserved," stated Head Coach Mary Beth Spirk. "She worked tirelessly on her game in the off season and fought through a tough start to the season. She established herself as not only an outside threat from beyond the three-point line, but also a great defender, passer and ball handler. Madison's steady play was invaluable as a leader on this team."

Yoegel was second on the squad in scoring at 13.1 points per outing, and she was also second on the boards with 5.7 rebounds per game. Yoegel added a team-leading 20 blocked shots to go with 21 steals, 16 assists and nine three-pointers while playing a team-high 32.2 minutes per contest and starting all 10 games. Yoegel has contributed 339 points, 191 rebounds, 51 blocked shots, 41 assists, 40 steals and 29 three-pointers in 53 career games including 36 starts.

"Kayla worked as hard as anyone I have coached in the off season and the All-Conference honor is the reward for all her efforts," noted Spirk. "She had a lot of pressure on her this year to lead our young team and she stepped up and handled her role tremendously. Kayla developed into a multi-dimensional player. She is difficult to guard, as she can play inside or step outside on the perimeter, and Kayla worked on her defense to lead the team on that end as well."

Morgan Amy tossed in 8.5 points per contest this winter, and she led the Hounds with 41 assists to go along with 29 rebounds, 15 steals, eight three-pointers and six blocked shots. Amy averaged 30.5 minutes outing while starting all 10 contests this season. She has added 180 points, 109 assists, 92 rebounds, 32 steals, 17 three-pointers and 14 blocked shots while starting 34 of 35 career games.

"Morgan followed up a solid freshman season with an even better sophomore year," commented Spirk. "As a point guard, she has the ability to control tempo, handle pressure, defend on the ball and play tough help defense, and she became an offensive threat this year. Morgan works every day on her game and is well deserving of this honor. Along with her sister, Madison, they are formidable together and I am happy we have them for two more years."
