BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College Department of Athletics and Recreation will celebrate the accomplishments of their 2020 senior class with a virtual celebration on Sunday, August 16 with the Senior Athlete Awards show as a video beginning at 6:00 p.m. The banquet, which is typically hosted in May, was postponed because of COVID-19 and due to the continued pandemic has been moved to a virtual event.
The Greyhounds' staff has put together a video that honors the Class of 2020 on the completion of four years of NCAA Division III athletic competition. Moravian will also announce its Senior Outstanding Athletes of the Year and the Blue & Grey Senior Scholar-Athletes during the video.
The video will debut on August 16 at 6:00 p.m. on GreyhoundTV at https://www.youtube.com/user/GreyhoundTV, and it will also be archived after the initial airing on GreyhoundTV and on www.moraviansports.com.
The H.T.D. Gillespie Award, given for outstanding service to Moravian's athletics program, that is usually presented at the awards ceremony will be announced later in August.
