TOWSON, Md. – Effective for all games (regular and postseason) scheduled on Monday, April 5 and later, the Landmark Conference Presidents Council that individual member institutions will have the autonomy to adjust and set their spectator policy for home contests. Below is the newest Moravian College spectator policy for the remainder of the Spring 2021 season.
Spectator Policy as of April 5, 2021
- ALL spectators must be properly masked while on Moravian College property and must observe social distancing of six feet unless they reside in the same household
- NO tailgating is allowed on campus at this time. This includes the feeding of teams (Moravian and visiting) after contests
BASEBALL – Gillespie Field
- Visiting Fans – Bleachers have been placed along the right field line by the visiting bullpen. There is also space to set up folding chairs/blankets. Fans of the visiting team may only be down the right field line
- Moravian Fans – 40 spots are available in the bleachers behind home plate for MORAVIAN only. These seats will be assigned by class year and names must be given at the gate to enter. The remaining Moravian fans can be down the left field line and beyond the outfield fence in left field
LACROSSE (Men/Women) – John Makuvek Field
- All Fans will be able to set up chairs/blankets for seating on the hill opposite the team benches and press box
SOFTBALL – Blue & Grey Field
- All Fans will enter by the gate on Center Street nearest first base (NOTE to Moravian Fans – see alternate instructions below for April 10 & 17)
- Visiting Fans are allowed to sit in the large set of bleachers on the first base side and the small set of bleachers in the right field corner
- Moravian Fans are allowed to sit in the bleachers down the left field line and in the left field corner
- To get to the bleachers on dates other than listed below, walk down the right field line and around the outfield to the seating area in left field
- To get to the bleachers on April 10 – access will be through the Hoffman Tennis Courts due to a track meet
- To get to the bleachers on April 17 – access is still being determined due to a track meet and tennis matches
TENNIS – Hoffman Courts
- All Fans can put chairs/blankets for seating behind the sidewalk between Hoffman Courts and Gillespie Field
TRACK & FIELD – Timothy Breidegam Track & Rocco Calvo Field
- All Fans will enter by the ticket booth on Elizabeth Avenue closest to the Blue & Grey Pavilion. Fans will be limited to the main grandstand and two side bleachers for seating. Fans will not be allowed to circle the complex or be on the turf field
Most contests both home and away will be streamed live online at https://landmarknetwork.tv/moravian/. Moravian will also offer live stats for spring sports that will be available at https://www.moraviansports.com.
