LANCASTER, Pa. --- Moravian College competes in the Centennial Conference for football and the Landmark Conference for all other sports. Today, the Centennial Conference made an announcement regarding all fall sports, while the Landmark Conference continues to meet with officials at member schools to determine their course of action for student-athletes in the fall.
In response to the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Centennial Conference Presidents Council has been meeting diligently to address the safety and well-being of students, faculty, staff, and their communities.
Given health and other related concerns, the Centennial Conference Presidents Council has decided to suspend any inter-collegiate competition for sports scheduled for the fall 2020 semester. As a member of the Centennial Conference, Moravian College will continue to explore opportunities for fall participation and maintain NCAA Championship opportunities for these student-athletes.
Additional information regarding plans for Greyhound athletics in the fall will be communicated as soon as it becomes available.
