Class: 2023
Major: Biochemistry

How did you choose your sport?  I started playing in 4th grade and since day one I fell in love with field hockey. It's always been my favorite sport.

Why did you come to Moravian College? I chose Moravian because it offered an environment for me to balance field hockey, track, academics, and a social life. I also loved that it was close to home so that I could still see family during the semester.

What is your major and how did you choose it? I am a biochemistry major on a pre-med track. Both of my parents have worked in healthcare and since I was young, I knew I wanted to do the same. Throughout high school I took many science classes and loved all of them. My senior year I was in the Emerging Health Professionals Program where in my mornings I shadowed in hospitals and took Anatomy & Physiology at Penn State Lehigh Valley. This really solidified my decision to pursue medicine.

What are your future plans? After Moravian I plan to attend medical school and become a family physician.

What is your favorite place on campus? My favorite place is John Makuvek Field where I have my field hockey practices and games.

What activities/organizations at Moravian College have you been active in as a student-athlete? In addition to field hockey, I also run track at Moravian. I also am a part of Alpha Sigma Tau sorority. This past semester I was a PASS leader where I helped tutor students in calculus 1.

What is your most memorable moment at Moravian? Scoring a hat trick in our game against Lancaster Bible in my freshman season.

Do you have any pre-event rituals or superstitions? Dancing and singing in the locker room before we go out on the field gets me pumped up before games.

What advice do you have for prospective student-athletes looking to attend Moravian College? Moravian is a small, close-knit liberal arts school that offers student-athletes a balanced life on campus. Your identity at Moravian goes far beyond what sport you play.

What is the best piece of advice you've been given? Work hard, but don't forget to relax and take time to enjoy these four years.

Who are your role models/most influential people? My mom is definitely my role model. I admire her work ethic, big heart, and sense of humor.

Which three people, living or dead, would you like to share a meal with? I would love to have a meal with my Grammy and Mom-Mom who have passed, and then also my mom.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise most people. I went skydiving this past summer.
