How did you choose the sport you played when you were growing up? Sports was a huge part of my family, so I found myself involved in almost any type of athletic competition I could. Basketball, Baseball, and Football were always my favorites, but I also played volleyball, soccer and tennis. Football ended up being what I was most passionate about.

Why did you choose to come to Moravian College? This is one of my favorite stories…After accepting a scholarship to play at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, I quickly realized that being closer to home was important for me and my family. I was home one day and for some reason I decided to read the paper which was not something I normally did. There happened to be an article featuring Tim McGorry, who was my OC in high school. He was just hired at Moravian, which I knew had a very good nursing program as well. I decided to shoot him a text and I think he called me 10 seconds later. The rest is history.

What experiences as a student-athlete at Moravian helped prepare you for life after college? Time management was a huge part of my career. Learning how to balance everything efficiently is something I take pride in.

How did you get into your current occupation? Since I was a kid, I always loved science and how the body worked. I also liked helping people who are in need. It's very cliche, but at its core that is what nursing is... a mix between science and compassion.

What was your favorite place on campus? That's tough. I think it's a tie between Lenape B and Rocco Calvo field (specifically the endzone).

What activities/organizations were you involved in at Moravian College as a student-athlete? I was involved in SAAC, the nursing departments SDP, Sigma Honor Society, and The Five Star Heart Program.

What was your most memorable moment at Moravian? I think the final 24 hours leading up to and culminating with graduation. It was a special moment for me, being around all of the people who made me who I am, family, friends, and classmates, before we set out on our next adventures.

What advice do you have for prospective student-athletes looking to attend Moravian College? Four years go fast. What you're complaining about today, you'll be wishing for tomorrow. Never miss chicken finger day in the cafe. Get Dartos or Johnny's Bagels at least once a week.

What advice do you have for current student-athletes as they approach graduation? Continue to take what you learned throughout your career and apply it to all that you do. Be the leader you're meant to be.

What is the best piece of advice you've been given? It's a bad day, not a bad life. If you think you're going to have a bad day, just don't.

Who are your role models/most influential people? My mother.

Which three people, living or dead, would you like to share a meal with? Maya Angelou, My grandfather, Will Smith

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise most people. One of my biggest fears is Ice Skating.
