BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's and women's basketball teams have announced their 2021 Landmark Conference schedules with competition set to begin on Friday, February 5.
The Greyhounds will play a home-and-home series with the four other Landmark Conference schools competing this winter due to COVID-19. At this time, fans will not be allowed in Johnston Hall for the contests but all games will be streamed on https://landmarknetwork.tv/. Games times will be at 7:00 p.m. for weekday games, and the conference is still determining the tip-off times for the Saturday and Sunday contests.
The Hounds begin the schedule with the men hosting Juniata College on February 5 as the women travel to Huntingdon to play the Eagles. The squads will flip sites on Sunday, February 7. Moravian plays its first game with The University of Scranton on Tuesday, February 9 with the women in Bethlehem and the men at Scranton, and the sites will be reversed when the squads meet again on Tuesday, February 16. The weekend of February 12 & 14 sees the Greyhounds playing The Catholic University of America with the women at home on Friday, February 12 and the men in Bethlehem on Sunday, February 14. The final weekend of the regular season has Moravian taking on Drew University with the men's game in Johnston Hall on Friday, February 26 and the women's contest in Bethlehem on February 27.
The Landmark Conference postseason tournament will begin on Tuesday, March 2 with the fourth and fifth seeds playing at the fourth seed's court. The winner will advance to the semifinals on Thursday, March 4 to face the top seed while the second and third seeds will play in the other semifinal contest on March 4. The Landmark Conference Championship game is slated for Saturday, March 6 at the highest remaining seed, and the winner will receive the conference's automatic berth to the 2021 NCAA Division III Tournament.
