BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College Athletics is hosting its second Athletics Giving Challenge that runs from January 21-31. The Greyhounds have surpassed the halfway point with 572 donors through the first four days of the challenge and have raised more than $50,500.
The football program leads the list after four days with 58 donors for more than $10,700 while the women's lacrosse team is second with 57 donors and the field hockey squad is third with 56 donors. All 17 programs have raised over $1,000 in the first four days of the challenge, led by the football team. Six other prorgrams have raised more than $2,000 including softball, men's basketball, golf, women's basketball, field hockey and baseball.
The Athletic Giving Challenge campaign will help mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic providing resources to ensure Greyhound student-athlete success and well-being. For detailed information on how your donation will impact a program, check out your favorite team's social media account.
