Top 10 Stories Of 2019-20 - #2 Moravian Builds New Locker Rooms In Timothy Breidegam Fieldhouse

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College is continuing its look back at its 2019-20 athletic campaign. The next entry in our second countdown of the summer – the Top 10 Stories of the Year selected by the athletic administration – is our No. 2 highlight – the Greyhounds building new locker rooms under the fitness center in Timothy Breidegam Fieldhouse.

The project converted 10,000 square-feet of open space below the current student fitness center into locker rooms, offices, storage and a student-athlete lounge. The space, which was left unfinished when the student fitness center was built in 2011 and attached to the front of Breidegam Fieldhouse, houses a total of six locker rooms including one locker rooms with 50 lockers and the remaining locker rooms with 30-35 lockers. Four of the six locker rooms are being used by Moravian's teams including the field hockey, men's and women's lacrosse and men's and women's soccer squads that all play directly outside on John Makuvek Field as well as visiting teams. There are new offices for the men's and women's lacrosse coaching staffs along with a student-athlete lounge.
