TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University senior goalie Rylee Soltis has been named the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Soltis posted 11 saves to go with three ground balls as the Greyhounds defeated Scranton, 16-10, in Landmark Conference action in the squad's only contest last week. The victory for the Hounds was the first in program history against the Royals after losing the first 18 meetings including four matchups in the Landmark Conference Semifinals in the last five years.

"Rylee has been a consistent presence for us this season," commented second-year Head Coach Caroline Pape. "Her mentality and strength set the tone for our defense, and she's come up big each game with huge stops from all angles."

The Greyhounds, who are 7-5 overall and 2-1 in Landmark Conference action, are slated to return to the field on Wednesday, April 12 in a Landmark Conference contest at Elizabethtown College beginning at 6:00 p.m.
