Salvatore Selected as Landmark Conference Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University sophomore attack Jackie Salvatore has been selected as the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Salvatore, who earned her second Landmark Conference honor of the season, helped Moravian to a 2-0 week as the Greyhounds extended their winning streak to eight to close out the regular season. Salvatore had 15 points on eight goals and seven assists to go with four ground balls, three draw controls and three caused turnovers. She had six goals, four assists, three ground balls and two draw controls in a 22-12 victory over FDU-Florham, and Salvatore closed out the regular season with two goals, three assists and two caused turnovers in an 18-1 win at Juniata College.

"Jackie continues to be a major impact for our offense, transition, and ride," noted Head Coach Caroline Pape. "She works tirelessly, selflessly, and intentionally to facilitate the plays and pace of our team."

Moravian is 12-5 overall and is set to return to action on Wednesday, May 3 when the squad hosts The University of Scranton in a Landmark Conference Semifinal match beginning at 4:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
