BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis team posted a 9-0 sweep of NCAA Division II Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania Sunday at Hoffman Courts.

The Greyhounds, now 2-0 this season, started with a 3-0 lead with the Raiders playing with just four players in both singles and doubles. Senior Eiman Nazif and junior Emma Angle earned an 8-2 win at first doubles while junior Kristen Cassidy and freshman Maddie Figiel won by the same score at second doubles.

Moravian took the fourth singles matches played in straight sets with junior Mary Angle earning a 7-6 (12-10), 6-4 victory at first singles, senior Lauren Steinert posting a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at second singles, junior Brooke Adams recording a 6-0, 6-2 win at third singles and freshman Julianne Cassady winning 6-0, 6-1 at fourth singles.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, September 21 when the squad hosts Misericordia University in a non-conference contest on Hoffman Courts beginning at 1:00 p.m.
