The Moravian College men's soccer team dropped its first road match of the 2011 season, falling to Marywood University, 1-0, in non-conference action Wednesday evening.
Junior midfielder Josh Bausch headed in a crossing pass from junior midfielder Brandon Ritter in the 16th minute to give the Pacers the only goal of the match.
Marywood had a 14-8 advantage in shots and a 10-6 edge in corner kicks. Moravian junior goalie Mike Brand had five saves, and the Greyhounds had one team save while Pacer junior goalie Jared El Gayeh had three saves.
Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, September 17th in a non-conference match at Lebanon Valley College starting at 3:00 p.m.
