Dalickas Named Landmark Softball Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College senior first baseman Jenn Dalickas has been named the Landmark Conference Softball Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Dalickas hit .727 at the plate as the Greyhounds swept a pair of Landmark Conference doubleheaders to remain undefeated in conference action and push the Hounds' winning streak to 14 consecutive games. Dalickas had eight hits in 11 at-bats with five doubles for a 1.182 slugging percentage. She scored six times and drove in eight more runs as Moravian scored 37 runs in its four games. Dalickas also drew six walks in her 17 plate appearances for a .824 on-base percentage.

Dalickas tied Tracey Holland, Janelle Brey and Justina Black for the school record with three doubles in a game when she went 3-for-3 with three doubles in the final game of the week, a 13-5 victory at Drew University.

"Jenn has had a very steady start to the season and has now settled in to a good groove with her swing to help out in run producing situations," commented Head Coach John Byrne.

The Greyhounds are slated to return to action on Thursday, April 9 when the squad hosts rival Muhlenberg College in a non-conference doubleheader at Blue & Grey Field in Bethlehem. First pitch of the Matte Award twinbill is slated for 3:00 p.m.
