Women's Tennis Falls in Final Match in Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. ---- The Moravian College women's tennis team faced off against Cornell (Iowa) College on Wednesday evening in the Greyhounds final match in Orlando where they fell 6-3 at the Lakeland-Beerman Tennis Facility.

Senior Sophia Osbourne teamed up with freshman Skylar Oliwa to post an 8-6 win at second doubles to go 3-1 overall on the trip to Florida. Sophomore Brittney Eady earned a 6-0, 6-2 triumph at first singles while sophomore Roberta Scantlebury forced three sets for the victory in sixth singles, 7-5, 1-6, 1-0 (10-8).

The Greyhounds return to the courts in Bethlehem on Friday, March 20 at 4:00 p.m. as they take on NCAA Division II East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
