Eady Named to All-Conference First Team in Singles

TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College sophomore Brittney Eady has been named to the 2015 Landmark Women's Tennis All-Conference First Team for singles for a second straight spring.

Eady posted an 11-6 singles record this spring for the Greyhounds with an 11-5 slate at first singles, and she is 27-10 in singles action after two years with the Blue & Grey. Eady was 7-10 in doubles this year while playing with two different partners, and she has a 24-13 career doubles slate.

"Brittney played very well this season at number one singles," commented Head Coach Art Smith, who was in his first season leading the women's program this year. "She is an intelligent player and competes extremely hard. As the team went through the season, we always knew we had a chance winning one or two points with Brittney in singles or doubles. Great job by Brittney this year."

Eady was named to the All-Conference First Team in singles and the Second Team in doubles in 2014, and she was also the Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year.

Moravian posted an 8-8 record this spring and will return five starters next season.
