Greyhounds Fall Late to Mules in Sodexo Crosstown Clash
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s soccer team rallied twice from one goal deficits before rival Muhlenberg College scored with 9.7 seconds left for a 3-2 win over the Greyhounds in the Sodexo Crosstown Clash under the lights on John Makuvek Field Saturday evening.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's soccer team rallied twice from one goal deficits before rival Muhlenberg College scored with 9.7 seconds left for a 3-2 win over the Greyhounds in the Sodexo Crosstown Clash under the lights on John Makuvek Field Saturday evening.
How It Happened
- The Mules netted the opening goal in the 13th minute for an early 1-0 lead that Muhlenberg held onto for nearly 50 minutes
- The Hounds knotted the match at 1-1 when graduate student defender Donald Gibbs put a ball into the net in the 61st minute
- Muhlenberg moved back ahead in the 76th minute on an unassisted goal
- Moravian countered once more in the 83rd minute as junior midfielder Tyler King one-touched a pass from sophomore midfielder Colin Woehlcke
- The Mules would get the winning goal off a scramble in front of the net with just 9.7 seconds to play
Inside the Numbers
- Gibbs' goal was his first of the season and sixth of his career while King netted his second goal of the fall and his Moravian career
- Woehlcke earned his first career assists
- Graduate student goalie Christian Beebe recorded nine saves while senior midfielder/defender Kyle Weiss also cleared a ball of the line
