TOWSON, Md. --- The Moravian University men's soccer team has had senior midfielder Hunter Shay and junior goalie Casey Prajzner named to the 2024 Landmark All-Conference First Team with Prajzner was selected as the Co-Landmark Conference Defensive Athlete of the Year while sophomore defender Aidan McMillan was honored on the All-Conference Second Team

Moravian, led by seventh year Head Coach Bob Wilkinson, registered a 9-5-5 mark this fall including a 5-1-3 mark in Landmark Conference action to earn the third seed in the Landmark Conference Tournament. The Greyhounds hosted a Landmark Conference Tournament First Round match, falling to Elizabethtown College, 2-0, in the program's first home postseason match since 2002 and the first home conference postseason contest since 1983.

Prajzner, the first Moravian player to earn Landmark Defensive Athlete of the Year honors since the conference began in 2007, recorded 49 saves, six shutouts, a 0.65 GAA and a 6-3-3 mark in 1,115 minutes this fall in his first year as a starter for the Greyhounds.

"Congratulations to Casey Prajzner for being named to the Landmark Conference First Team as well as named Co-Defensive Player of the Year for the Landmark Conference," exclaimed Wilkinson. "What a great season for Casey! He worked very hard over the summer in preparation for this season. He made the most of his chance to play by earning six shutouts in nine conference games while only giving up three goals in the process. We had a great group of goaltenders that really pushed each other every day in practice and it showed on the field."

Shay, who also made the Landmark All-Conference First Team in 2023, recorded a pair of assists this fall, and he has posted 11 assists in 68 career matches at Moravian.

"Congratulations to Hunter Shay for being named to the Landmark Conference First Team," noted Wilkinson. "Hunter is a highly technical player that controls our midfield and dictates our speed of play. He is always around the ball and looking to get involved. He often leads the team in passes connected and miles run. We will miss his skill, his hard work and his love of the game as he moves toward graduation."

McMillan, a repeat selection on the Landmark All-Conference Second Team, netted the first goal of his career this fall, and it was a game-winning goal. He helped anchor the Hounds' defense that allowed just 0.95 goals per game this fall with six shutouts. McMillan has played in 37 career matches in two seasons.

"Congratulations to Aidan McMillan for being named to the Landmark Conference Second Team" Wilkinson stated. "This is the second year in a row he has been named to the team. Aidan is a very good 1 v 1 defender and is excellent in the air. He improved his long-range passing out of the back. He is one of the leaders of our team and we are looking forward to what he will accomplish next season as he continues to improve."
