TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University senior forward Ben Scary has been named the Landmark Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
Scary scored a pair of game-winning goals in a 2-0 week in Landmark Conference action. Scary has five game-winning goals this season with three in conference action as the Hounds remained unbeaten in Landmark Conference play. He had the winning goal in a 2-0 victory at Drew University before tallying the winning marker in a 3-1 win at Susquehanna University. Scary has recorded seven game-winning goals in his 17 career goals.
"Congratulations to Ben Scary for being named Landmark Offensive Player of the Week," Exclaimed Head Coach Bob Wilkinson. "Ben has been very good in key spots all season. We look forward to his contributions as we go forward."
Moravian is slated to return to the pitch on Wednesday, October 23 when the squad hosts Elizabethtown College in a Landmark Conference match beginning at 7:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
