BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 non-conference decision to No. 2 Misericordia University on John Makuvek Field Saturday.
How It Happened
- The Cougars took a 1-0 lead in the 19th minute, and that would be the only marker of the first half as Misericordia held the one goal edge through halftime
- The Cougars doubled the advantage to 2-0 in the 61st minute when they converted on a penalty kick, and Misericordia stretched the edge to 3-0 with another goal in the 68th minute
- The final goal of the match would be an own goal in the 69th minute to make the score 4-0
Inside the Numbers
- Junior goalie Paige Harrison made the start for the Blue & Grey, and she recorded eight saves in her 45 minutes of action
- Junior keeper Payce Korpics played the second half of the contest for Moravian and had six saves
- The Cougars held a 28-2 advantage in shots and an 8-3 edge in corner kicks
