BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's tennis team remained undefeated on the season with a 7-0 non-conference victory over visiting FDU-Florham at Hoffman Courts on a breezy Thursday afternoon.
How It Happened
- The Greyhounds claimed all three doubles matches to earn the team point for doubles. Sophomore Sydney Shifman and freshman Jenna Gower posted a 6-0 win at third doubles while freshmen Nicole Kalorin and Ali Willis posted a 6-0 triumph at second doubles to secure the team point. Junior Izzy Szmodis and sophomore Leah Zolotareva finished the doubles sweep with a 6-2 victory at first doubles
- Moravian captured all six singles contests in straight sets with Kalorin finishing first with a 6-0, 6-0 win at fifth singles. Shifman posted a 6-0, 6-0 triumph at third singles while Willis captured the winning team point with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at fourth singles. Gower earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at sixth singles while Zolotareva won 6-2, 6-0 at first singles and Szmodis completed the match with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at second singles
