TEMPE, Ariz. --- Twelve student-athletes from the Moravian University men's and women's tennis teams have been selected as 2024 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athletes and both the men's and women's squads also received the ITA All-Academic Team award.

Senior Steve Schneider, juniors Zachary Lebby and Wyatt Marshall and sophomores Shayaan Farhad and Matthew Labosky from the men's team and seniors Gabby Martin and Megan O'Brien, sophomore Izzy Szmodis and freshmen Ali Bender, Julia Bergman, Sydney Shifman and Leah Zolotareva from the women's squad were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.

"We always strive to earn team ITA-Academic honors as well as individual recognition for outstanding achievements in the classroom. I'm incredibly proud of both teams for accomplishing this goal," stated Director of Tennis Mariana Freitas.
