BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's and women's indoor teams are ready to start the 2024-25 indoor campaign at the Lehigh University Fast Times Before Finals at Rauch Fieldhouse on Friday and Saturday, December 6-7 and the Ursinus College Bow Tie Invitational on Saturday, December 7.

Under the leadership of Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Jesse Baumann, both Greyhounds' teams look to recapture the Landmark Conference titles on March 1 at the new site in Landover, Maryland.

The men have 11 returning student-athletes that earned Landmark All-Conference honors in 2024 led by junior high jumper Jerome Luckey, who captured the high jump title and was a Second Team All-American, and senior distance runner Owen Nahf, who took first in the 5,000-meter run and was the runner-up in the 3,000-meter run. Seniors Trevor Gray and Owen Sabastro and junior Jacob Fenstermaker are back from second place 4x200-meter relay team while senior distance runner Nathan Hajel was the runner-up in the 5,000-meter run in 2023.

The Hounds have six returning Landmark All-Conference Honorable Mention honorees for third place finishes a year ago including graduate student distance runner Casey Frank in the mile run, sophomore thrower Anthony Morillo in the shot put and the distance medley relay squad of senior Geoffrey Kleinberg and sophomores Jordan Gagner, Nate Moore and Jackson Royds.

The women have seven returning Landmark All-Conference honorees led by three quarters of the winning distance medley relay team last winter – seniors Rachael Goodman, Rylie Murphy and Amber Poniktera. Senior sprinter Abby Giamoni was the runner-up in the 400-meter dash indoors last winter before earning Track Performer of the Year at the Outdoor Championships. Junior jumper Ali Haefele was second in the triple jump last February while junior distance runner Tara Smurla finished second in the 5,000-meter run and third in the 3,000-meter run. Junior thrower Karalyn Vashey returns after a second place in the 20-pound weight throw.
