BETHLEHEM, Pa. ---  Mark Fleming, the Moravian University Director of Athletic Communications, was honored with the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Warren Berg Award.

I have personally been blessed to work with Mark over these past 28 years and he works just as hard today as he did when he came to Moravian. Congratulations to Mark."

The award is presented annually to a college division member (NCAA DII, DIII, NAIA, Two-year Colleges, and Canadian institutions) who has made outstanding contributions to the field of athletic communications, and who by his or her activities, has brought dignity and prestige to the profession.

"I'm humbled and honored to be selected to receive the Warren Berg Award from the College Sports Communicators this year," said Fleming. "It is a tremendous statement that others feel I have had a career that puts me into the illustrious group of now 41 Warren Berg recipients which includes many friends, colleagues and mentors across the country."

"Mark consistently goes above and beyond, elevating the quality and prestige of our Landmark Championship events. Winning the Warren Berg Award is a testament to his unparalleled contributions to athletic communications and his commitment to bringing dignity and innovation to our profession. "As athletic communication professionals, we don't get into this business to promote ourselves or even with the goal of earning awards" continued Fleming. "I'm honored to have my peers select me for this outstanding honor."

"Congratulations to Mark on being awarded the Warren Berg Award from CSC," said Sarah Twiggs, Assistant Commissioner of the Landmark Conference, and nominator.
