BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Graduate student goalie Riley Spingler of Moravian University's women's soccer team has been named the Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for her performance last week.
Spingler played all 180 minutes this past week, earning a pair of scoreless ties and a total of 11 saves. She had six saves against Montclair State, ranked sixth in NCAA Division III Region 4, on September 25th. Spingler also had five saves against The Catholic University of America, ranked eighth in Region 5, on the 28th as Moravian began the 2024 Landmark Conference season.
The women's soccer team will return to the turf on Wednesday, October 2nd against Eastern University, 4:30 p.m.
The Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger is selected on Mondays by Moravian's athletic department leadership team.
