BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Sophomore Anthony Morillo of the Moravian University's men's indoor track & field team has been selected as the Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for his performance last week.
Morillo captured first place in the shot put at the 2025 Landmark Conference Indoor Championships with an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying and PR distance of 14.57 meters (47-9.75), and he was third in the 35-pound weight throw with a PR toss of 13.53 meters (44-4.75). Morillo was honored as the 2025 Men's Indoor Field Performer of the Year.
The Hounds are scheduled to compete in the 2025 All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Championships at Ithaca College on Friday and Saturday, March 7-8 with action beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday ad 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
The Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger is selected on Mondays by Moravian's athletic department leadership team.
