Krasley Honored as Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Senior opposite hitter Makenzie Krasley from the Moravian University's women's volleyball squad has been honored as the Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for her performance last week.

Krasley assisted Moravian with a 2-1 winning record in Landmark Conference action last week while also setting a new school record. She had 23 kills, a .512 hitting percentage, three service aces, five digs, and two blocks in eight sets over the three contests, and she recorded 27 total points.

During the team's 3-0 win over Wilkes University, Krasley had seven kills, two service aces, a dig, and nine points. She also added three kills and two blocks in a 3-0 loss to No. 1 Juniata College.

She finished the week with a 3-0 sweep of Lycoming College obtaining 13 digs, 4 kills, and a service ace. Krasley earned her school record during this win for a three-set match with a .765 hitting percentage as she had 13 kills in 17 attempts with no errors in the contest.

The women's volleyball team will return to the court on Friday, October 25th against Drew University, 7:00 p.m.
