BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Senior sprinter Abby Giamoni of the Moravian University's women's indoor track & field team has been selected as the Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for her performance last week.
Giamoni won the 400-meter dash at the Ithaca (N.Y.) College Bomber Invitational in an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying and season-best time of 59.05 seconds. She also captured first in the 200-meter dash with an AARTF qualifying time of 26:08 seconds, and Giamoni took fourth in the preliminaries of the 60-meter dash with an AARTFC qualifying time of 8.05 seconds.
The Hounds are scheduled to return to the to the track on Saturday, February 8 at the Franklin & Marshall College Blue & White Invitational beginning at 9:30 a.m.
The Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger is selected on Mondays by Moravian's athletic department leadership team.
