BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University is continuing to look back at its 2024-25 athletic campaign. Before announcing the top event in the Top 10 Exciting Games from the past year, here is a look at the five contests that received votes from the Moravian athletic administrators but missed out on making the Top 10.
Football Rallies from 13-0 Deficit to Beat Utica
The Blue and Grey fell behind Utica University, 13-0, in the first half of the second game of a non-conference game of the season at Rocco Calvo Field on September 14, 2024. The Greyhounds got onto the with a 47-yard touchdown pass from senior quarterback Jared Jenkins to senior wide receiver Diego Del Castillo in the third quarter. Jenkins connected on a 15-yard touchdown pass with graduate student running back Joey Richmond with 1:09 remaining to give Moravian an 18-13 lead. Freshman linebacker Malachi McNeil-Harrison made an interception in the end zone on the final play to seal the victory.

Baseball Tops Concordia-Moorhead (Minn.) in Extra Innings to Sweep Doubleheader
The Greyhounds gave up the opening run to Concordia-Moorehead in the first inning of the second contest of a doubleheader at the RussMatt Invitational in Florida on March 4. The Hounds scored two runs in each of the second, third and fourth innings for a 6-1 edge before the Cobbers tied the game again. Both squads scored twice in the fifth before heading to extra innings. Moravian pushed seven runs home in the top of the fifth on a three-run homer, an RBI single by graduate student left fielder Connor Wengryn, a two-RBI single by freshman second baseman Nathan Jones and a throwing error as the Blue & Grey posted a 15-11 win.

Men's Lacrosse Knocks Off DeSales in Overtime
The Hounds scored with 3:26 left in the fourth quarter as a goal by junior attack Ryan Kokoszka made it a 10-10 game at DeSales on March 19 in Center Valley. It would be Kokoszka again in overtime with 2:12 on the clock as he netted a man-up goal on a pass from sophomore attack Nick Coffaro. The overtime win was the third straight for Moravian dating back to 2019.

Women's Lacrosse Defeats Drew in Overtime
The Blue & Grey entered the fourth quarter of a Landmark Conference match versus Drew University on John Makuvek Field on April 16 trailing 13-11. The Greyhounds would knot the score at 15-15 on a goal by senior midfielder Madi Dippel with 4:52 to play; however, the Rangers retook the lead. Sophomore attack Melissa Elefonte found the net with just ten seconds left in regulation to force overtime. Senior midfielder Alex Cherenson scored the game-winning goal just 47 seconds into overtime to give Moravian the victory.

Women's Swimming Earns Two-Point Win over Lycoming
The Greyhounds closed out their 2024-25 regular season with a 74-72 win at Lycoming College in Landmark Conference action on February 1. Moravian won six events in the contest with senior Ashlee Limbacher and freshman Gabby Blasko each winning three events.
