Hounds Drop Landmark Conference Match to Susquehanna

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College field hockey team dropped a Landmark Conference match by a final score of 6-1 versus Susquehanna University Saturday afternoon at Rocco Calvo Field.

Junior goalie Megan Kanyuk made 10 saves on the day to bring her season total up to 158 saves. Sophomore Katie Morrison also added one defensive save for the Greyhounds, to give her two defensive stops on the season.

Moravian was able to break through and find a goal from senior forward Kelly O'Donnell in the 58th minute. O'Donnell was able to break away from the Susquehanna defense and bury the ball into the back of the cage for her 10th goal of the season. With that goal O'Donnell moves into a tie for 7th in career goals in the Moravian record books with 26 career goals.

The Blue and Grey will head to Juniata College to play a Landmark Conference match on Tuesday, October 20 at 7:30 p.m.
