Moravian Continues 2016-17 Women's Tennis Campaign in Florida Starting on March 5

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis squad is set to return to the courts for the spring portion of its 2017 season on Sunday, March 5 when the squad takes on Southwest Minnesota State University to start a week of matches in Orlando, Florida.

Head coach Alan Heverly returns four players and has six freshmen student-athletes on the roster for the spring campaign. Senior Brittney Eady leads the squad from the fall with a 3-1 mark including a 3-0 mark at first singles, and Eady enters her final semester tied for tenth in school history with 37 doubles victories and she has 40 singles wins. Junior Skylar Oliwa missed the fall season but has 20 career doubles victories for the Greyhounds while junior Grace Bailly and sophomore Kate Rennar also return this spring with Rennar posting a 3-2 mark this past fall.

Freshman Lauren Steinert had a 2-1 record in her debut last fall for the Greyhounds while freshman Eiman Nazif had a 2-2 singles slate, and the duo had a 3-1 doubles mark. Freshmen Courtney Kunzman and Emily Snyder both had 1-0 records in the fall.
