COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 non-conference decision at Ursinus College Sunday as the contest was played indoors due to the weather.
The Greyhounds, now 4-4 overall, trailed 2-1 after doubles action with the tandem of senior Brittney Eady and junior Skylar Oliwa posting a 9-7 win at first doubles.
Moravian would pick up two points in singles action with freshman Eiman Nazif winning in straight sets at third singles and Eady capturing a three-set match at first singles to tie the contest at 3-3 at that point.
The Hounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, April 1 when they head to Drew University to begin the 2017 Landmark Conference season with a 1:00 p.m. match.
