BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Senior face-off specialist Gannon Mesko of the Moravian University's men's lacrosse team has been honored as the Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for his performance last week.

Mesko helped Moravian to a 2-0 week in Landmark Conference action as the Greyhounds extended their winning streak to six matches. He was 21-for-28 while taking every face-off in a 14-10 come-from-behind win over Goucher College, and Mesko had a career-high 15 ground balls in the contest to go with a pair of caused turnovers. He finished the week with a 13-for-15 performance and four ground balls in a 20-6 win versus Juniata College on Senior Day.
