WILKES-BARRE, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team opened its 2012-13 dual match season with a 6-3 non-conference loss at King's College Saturday.

The Monarchs had a 2-1 lead after doubles action with the Moravian tandem of senior Brad Kutcha and freshman C.J. Widdifield posting an 8-5 victory at second doubles.

The Greyhounds would pick up two wins during the singles action.  Kutcha had a three-et, 6-3, 0-6, 6-4 win at fourth singles while freshman Matt Tuorto won in straight sets, 7-5, 6-2 at second singles.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday and Sunday, September 22nd and 23rd at the University of Scranton Invitational.
