Four Greyhounds Named to Landmark Men's Tennis All-Conference Second Team

TOWSON, Md. --- Sophomore Lewis Cooper and freshmen Libario Obeid, Matt Tuorto and John Wylie of the Moravian College men's tennis team have been named to the 2013 Landmark Men's Tennis All-Conference Second Team in doubles.

The quartet helped the Greyhounds to a 7-10 mark this season, and Moravian was 4-3 in Landmark Conference action just missing the Landmark Conference Tournament after finishing the regular season tied for fourth in the standings.

Cooper and Obeid combined for a 10-5 record at second doubles this spring, and the duo was 6-1 in Landmark Conference matches. Both players missed the fall portion of Moravian's season with Cooper starting for Moravian's men's soccer team and leading the squad in scoring while Obeid was sidelined while battling cancer detected last summer. In singles action, Cooper had an 8-8 record while playing fourth singles while Obeid was 9-6 at third singles.

Tuorto and Wylie were 10-13 in doubles action this season, and they had an 8-9 record at first doubles including a 5-2 mark in Landmark Conference matches. Tuorto also had a 9-14 singles mark while playing first singles for the Greyhounds while Wylie was 7-16 in singles while competing at second singles.
