Men's Tennis Falls to Muhlenberg

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 non-conference decision to rival Muhlenberg College at Hoffman Courts Tuesday as the Greyhounds played their final non-conference match of the season.

The Mules, who earned their ninth point in the annual Matte Award to clinch the trophy for 2012-13, swept the three doubles contests to build a 3-0 lead.

In singles action, Moravian picked up a pair of three-set victories with freshman Libario Obeid winning at third singles and sophomore Lewis Cooper earning a victory at fourth singles. Freshmen Matt Tuorto and John Wylie each won their first sets at first and second singles respectively before falling in three sets.

Moravian will close out its 2012-13 regular season on Saturday, April 20th in a Landmark Conference match at Drew University beginning at 1:00 p.m.
