ORLANDO, Fla. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team concluded its Spring Break trip to Orlando with a 7-2 non-conference loss to Clark (Mass.) University Wednesday evening.
The Cougars won the three doubles matches to build a 3-0 lead. Moravian's second doubles squad of sophomore Lewis Cooper and freshman Libario Obeid nearly earned a win in their match, falling 8-6.
In singles action, the Greyhounds picked up wins at the top two sports in the lineup, but Clark captured the other four matches and earn the victory. Freshman John Wylie had a 6-4, 6-4 win at first singles for Moravian while freshman Matt Tuorto posted a 6-4, 7-5 victory at second singles.
Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, March 16th when the Greyhounds open their 2013 Landmark Conference season at Goucher College in a 1:00 p.m. match.
