Rolwood Honored as ECAC DIII South Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week for 2nd Straight Week

DANBURY, Conn. --- Moravian College freshman midfielder Eileen Rolwood has been honored as the ECAC Division III South Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Rolwood helped Moravian to a 1-1 record last week as she recorded eight goals, an assist, 12 draw controls, 11 ground balls and three caused turnovers. Rolwood had three goals; six draw controls, five ground balls and two caused turnovers in the Greyhounds' 20-8 loss at Susquehanna University. She then had five goals, an assist, six ground balls; six draw controls and a caused turnover in a 20-16 victory over SUNY Old Westbury.

"Eileen has been a strong force for us on the draw coming out with 12 draw controls in just two games," commented Head Coach Kristen Schuster. "She's also been dynamic and quick on the loose ball coming up with 11 ground balls this past week. Eileen is proving game after game to be a key player for us on either end of the field."

Moravian, 6-5 overall, is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, April 16 in a non-conference match at Goucher College beginning at 1:00 p.m.
