Greyhound Women Capture Invitational Title with 10 Event Champions

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's outdoor track & field squad finished first of six schools in the annual Greyhound Invitational Saturday at Timothy Breidegam Track with a team total of 235 points while The University of Scranton was second with 141 points. 

Event Winners

  • Sophomore Helen Davis captured the 100-meter dash in 12.69 seconds, and she won the 200-meter dash in 25.98 seconds
  • Sophomore Crystal Robinson took first in the 400-meter dash in 1:00.43
  • Junior Natalie Stabilito was first in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:50.04
  • Senior Natalie Novotni won the 5,000-meter run with a time of 17:53.01
  • Senior Tatiana Lopez won the 100-meter hurdles in 15.67 seconds
  • Junior Alyssa Lambert captured the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:06.69
  • Davis, Robinson, senior Camaryn Wheeler and graduate student Jordan Luciano won the 4x100-meter relay in 48.59 seconds
  • Lambert and Robinson combined with senior Morgan Weaver and sophomore Rachel Byrne to capture the 4x400-meter relay in 4:16.72
  • Senior Tyleen Lopez won the long jump at 5.25 meters (17-2.75)

Top 8 Scoring Finishes

  • Luciano was the runner-up in the 100-meter dash in 13.48 seconds while Tatiana Lopez was fourth in 13.73 seconds, Weaver took sixth in 13.83 seconds and freshman Hannah Leto finished seventh in 13.88 seconds
  • Wheeler placed second in the 200-meter dash in 26.65 seconds while Luciano was fifth in 27.76 seconds, senior Emily Renner placed seventh in 28.18 seconds and Tyleen Lopez was eighth in 28.30 seconds
  • Byrne was the runner-up in the 400-meter dash in 1:01.52 while Wheeler took third in 1:02.84, Weaver placed fourth in 1:03.79 and Renner finished eighth in 1:07.67
  • Freshman Pia Mazzella DiBosco was second in the 800-meter run in 2:35.77
  • Junior Rachael McCoach was sixth in the 5,000-meter run in a time of 19:36.50 while junior Emma Marion placed seventh in 19:52.91
  • Senior Jenevieve Eberly finished as the runner-up in the 100-meter hurdles in 16.11 seconds while Lambert placed third in 16.21 seconds, Leto took fourth in 16.67 seconds, senior Cat Cole finished fifth in 17.02 seconds and sophomore Elizabeth DeMassa placed sixth in 17.93 seconds
  • Eberly was also the runner-up in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:14.57 while senior Alison Nicolosi was third in 1:17.49 and Cole placed fourth in 1:19.32
  • Nicolosi finished fourth in the high jump at 1.27 meters (4-2)
  • Luciano was the runner-up in the long jump with a mark of 4.95 meters (16-3) while Leto was fourth at 4.92 meters (16-1.75), Eberly took fifth at 4.90 meters (16-1), sophomore Haylee Saylor placed seventh at 4.72 meters (15-6) and DeMassa finished eighth at 4.49 meters (14-8.75)
  • Saylor took fourth in the triple jump at 9.22 meters (30-3)
  • Sophomore Maddie Wickel took fifth in the shot put with a mark of 9.03 meters (29-7.5) while DeMassa was seventh at 6.99 meters (22-11.25)
  • Wickel was also third in the discus with a mark of 33.30 meters (109-3), and she also took fourth in the hammer throw with a toss of 30.64 meters (100-6)
  • Freshman Vicky Donovan was the runner-up in the javelin with a distance of 30.08 meters (108-6) while sophomore Delaney Wiseman took third at 30.01 meters (108-3)
