BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Henry "Hank" Nehilla '67, a standout on the gridiron and the diamond, is being inducted into the Moravian College Athletic Hall of Fame on November 11, 2016 in Johnston Hall beginning at 6:00 p.m. 

Nehilla is a 1967 Moravian graduate, and he was a four-year letterwinner on both the football and baseball teams during his time in Bethlehem. He also played both sports at Notre Dame High School before coming to Moravian.

On the gridiron, Nehilla became the first Greyhound to reach 1,000 career rushing yards as he ran for 1,422 yards on 356 carries in his final three years with the program. He was named to the 1965 Middle Atlantic Conference Northern All-Star and ECAC College Division South All-Star Teams as well as the Associated Press All-State Honorable Mention team after setting then school records of 688 yards on 185 attempts. He was also the team's most valuable player as a junior. Nehilla earned a spot on the MAC Northern All-Star Team in 1966 while serving as a co-captain.

On the baseball diamond, Nehilla was an outfielder that played with five other Moravian Hall of Fame members during his career. He had a .354 career batting average with 69 hits, 33 RBIs, 26 runs, 13 doubles, two triples, one home run, seven walks and six stolen bases in his four seasons. Nehilla served as a co-captain for the Greyhounds in 1967, and he was also selected as the team MVP as a senior when he had a .431 batting average with a team-leading 25 hits.

Nehilla currently resides in Holmes Beach, Florida. He retired after serving as President of Virginia Cardinal Concrete in Lorton, Virginia.
