TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College sophomore midfielder Liz Bill has been named to the 2018 Women's Lacrosse Landmark All-Conference First Team while freshman midfielder Meaghan McMullan was selected to the All-Conference Second Team.

The duo helped the Greyhounds to an 11-5 mark, a program-record for wins in a season, and the squad was 5-2 in the Landmark Conference regular season to earn the program's first-ever berth to the Landmark Conference Semifinals. The Hounds fell to second seed The University of Scranton, 17-10, in the Semifinals on Wednesday.

During the season, Bill became just the sixth Greyhound to reach 100 career points and will enter her junior season third all-time with 125 points.

"I'm thrilled to see Liz receiving this recognition after such a great sophomore season," stated Head Coach Kristen Nicholson. "She's developed into such an offensive threat with the ability to drive hard and score often. She has also proven herself as a take away defender on our ride coming up with caused turnovers to keep momentum for our offense. She's such a team player and all around asset to our program."

McMullan finished her debut season at Moravian third on the squad with 53 points on 47 goals and six assists despite missing two matches with an injury. She set a program season record with 95 draw controls this spring to go with 32 ground balls and 29 caused turnovers.

"Meaghan has become such an essential part of our team after joining us just this spring," commented Nicholson. "She has not only fit into the culture of our program but has also help propel us to that next level. She's dominant on the draw circle and is such a presence on either end of the field. Only being a freshman, she has much to learn about this game and I'm excited to see what the future holds with all of her potential."
