MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. --- Moravian University senior defensive lineman Jeremy McGuigan has been honored on the D3football.com Team of the Week for his performance last week.
McGuigan, who was also selected as the Landmark Conference Defensive Athlete of the Week, helped the Blue & Grey post a 34-23 victory versus Lycoming College this past Saturday as the Hounds secured a berth in the 2024 Chesapeake Challenge Bowl Series, the program's first berth in the postseason since 2015. McGuigan recorded four tackles with two and a half sacks, two and a half tackles for loss, a fumble recovery and a pass break-up in the victory.
Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, November 16 when the squad heads to Wilkes University to close out the 2024 regular season with a Landmark Conference contest kicking off at 12:00 p.m. in Edwardsville.
