TOWSON, Md. --- The Moravian University men's indoor track & field squad had a total of nine student-athletes honored by the Landmark Conference for their performances at the 2025 Landmark Indoor Championships last weekend at the Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex in Landover, Maryland.

The Greyhounds, who finished second at the conference meet, received 12 All-Conference honors from those nine student-athletes with sophomore Anthony Morillo named the Male Field Performer of the Year.

Morillo won the shot put to earn Landmark All-Conference First Team honors, and he also received Landmark All-Conference Honorable Mention accolades for a third place in the 35-pound weight throw. Morillo is the seventh Greyhound to be selected as the Landmark Conference Male Field Performer of the Year, and he is the third thrower to garner the honor and first since Greg Cahill in 2016.

"Anthony had a fantastic weekend in the circle," commented Throwing Coach Jon D'Ottavio. "We knew coming into Saturday that he was in great shape to have some big throws. He's been putting in the work in practice with Coach Ryan Harper and fine tuning his technique. It's a lot of fun when you see an athlete trust what they're doing and go out and have a big meet like Anthony did. He's someone that continues to step up when he's needed and it's great to see him get rewarded for his efforts with the indoor field performer of the year. We hope this leads to even bigger moments as we wrap up the indoor season and transition to outdoors."

The Hounds had four other student-athlete earn Landmark All-Conference First Team as conference champions in their events with sophomore Jordan Gagner taking first in the 800-meter run, junior Jerome Luckey winning the high jump, senior Owen Nahf capturing the 3,000-meter run and graduate student Cole Stanchina placing first in the 5,000-meter run with a meet record time of 15:07.27.

Moravian had three All-Conference Second Team honorees with Stanchina finishing as the runner-up in the 3,000-meter run, senior Nathan Hajel taking second in the 5,000-meter run and senior Trevor Gray placing second in the 60-meter dash.

The Greyhounds also had three other Honorable Mention All-Conference selections including Hajel in the 3,000-meter run, graduate student Jeremy Goll in the shot put and sophomore Gavin Hefferan in the 5,000-meter run.
