NEW ORLEANS, La. --- Former Moravian University student-athlete Eric Campbell-Woodruff '11, an NCAA Division III track & field national champion, has been selected for induction into the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association NCAA Division III Track & Field Athlete Hall of Fame.
Campbell-Woodruff, who was inducted to the Moravian Hall of Fame in 2022, was a standout on the men's indoor and outdoor track & field teams for four years, winning a total of four NCAA Division III National Championships. Campbell-Woodruff captured the 200-meter dash outdoor National title in 2009, 2010 and 2011, and he doubled up as a senior by winning the 100-meter dash. Campbell-Woodruff was a seven-time All-American as well as a two-time Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Champion.
During his career, Campbell-Woodruff earned Landmark Conference Athlete of the Year honors twice while winning 19 Landmark Conference titles with eight relay championships and 11 individual titles. He also earned a pair of Landmark All-Conference Second Team honors and was Moravian's Outstanding Male Senior Athlete in 2011.
Campbell-Woodruff was also honored as the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association NCAA Division III Mideast Region Track Athlete of the Year both indoors and outdoors in 2011, and in 2010, he placed 22nd in the nation at the United States Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Iowa as he missed making the semifinals by 0.13 seconds after running 21.41 seconds in the race.
Campbell-Woodruff still holds the top time in five individual events and one relay in the Moravian record book, and he also has four Landmark Conference records that still stand. His school record time of 20.82 in the outdoor 200-meter dash was one of the top ten fastest times in NCAA Division III history until 2024.
Campbell-Woodruff is the second Moravian student-athlete to make the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Hall of Fame, joining Christina Scherwin '05, who was inducted in 2022.
