Six Greyhounds Record Regional Qualifying Times at Princeton’s Sam Howell Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. --- The Moravian University men's outdoor track & field team recorded six All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying marks and five all-time top ten times in the Sam Howell Invitational hosted by Princeton University Friday evening. 

Moravian Top 10 Finishers

  • Senior Owen Nahf placed fifth in the unseeded 5,000-meter run with an AARTFC qualifying and PR time of 14:52.87, the sixth fastest time in school history, while sophomore Gavin Hefferan finished seventh in an AARTFC qualifying and PR time of 14:55.66, the ninth fastest time in school history, and senior Nathan Hajel was eighth in an AARTFC qualifying and PR time of 14:57.00, the tenth fastest time in school history 

AARTFC Qualifiers

  • Graduate student Cole Stanchina placed 14th in the seeded 5,000-meter run with an AARTFC qualifying time of 14:54.92, the eighth fastest time in school history
  • Junior Bryan Kerchner took 17th in the 1,500-meter run with an AARTFC qualifying and PR time of 3:53.97, the second fastest time in program history, while graduate student Casey Frank finished 26th with an AARTFC qualifying and PR time of 3:58.05
