SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's basketball squad dropped a 62-42 decision in Landmark Conference action at Susquehanna University Saturday.

How It Happened

• The River Hawks scored the first five points of the game before senior forward Sam Osorio hit a lay-up for the Hounds. Moravian trailed 7-4 after senior guard Reganne Flannery hit a jumper; however, Susquehanna finished the quarter with a 10-0 run as the River Hawks led 17-4 after ten minutes of action
• Susquehanna stretched its edge in the second quarter, heading to the locker room with a 34-14 lead
• The River Hawks maintained the advantage throughout the second half. The Greyhounds would close within 17 points at 57-40 on a jumper by freshman guard/forward Lizzie Lustig with just under three minutes to play

Inside the Numbers

• Junior forward Brielle Guarente led Moravian with ten points to go with five rebounds and three blocked shots
• Lustig paced the Blue & Grey with eight rebounds to go with six points and three steals while sophomore guard Juliana Vassallo also scored six points to go along with three boards
• Osorio, junior guard Mikayla Anderson, freshman guard Yarian Fernandez and freshman guard Emma Altmire all netted four points. Osorio added five rebounds and three steals while Anderson contributed six rebounds, three steals and a pair of assists
• Flannery had two points to go with three boards while sophomore guard Jayda Cartagena recorded two points and a pair of steals and freshman center/forward Lanie Herbert grabbed three rebounds
• The Hounds shot 17-for-67 from the field, 2-for-10 on three-pointers and 6-for-15 at the foul line
