Moravian Falls at No. 11 TCNJ in Non-Conference Action

EWING, N.J. --- The Moravian College women's lacrosse team fell at No. 11 The College of New Jersey, 22-3, in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon.

The Greyhounds were led by senior attack Liz Bill, who had a pair of goals to go with six draw controls. Sophomore midfielder Lindsey Strohl had the Hounds' other goal while junior attack Danielle Sullivan added an assist with two ground balls.

Freshman goalie Brelyn Friedman recorded six saves and two ground balls in 42 minutes of action while junior goalie Courtney Heist had one save in the final 18 minutes of action. Junior defender Olivia Clearie and freshman attack Megan Donnelly each had a pair of draw controls while sophomore defender Samantha Cherenson scooped up two ground balls and sophomore defender Meghan Moore had two caused turnovers.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, March 7 when the squad plays at Kaiser (Fla.) University, the fourth-ranked team in the NAIA, with the contest slated for a noon start.
