TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College freshman attack Megan Donnelly has been named as the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.
Donnelly had a career-high eight points on four goals and four assists in the Greyhounds' 21-13 non-conference victory over The College of Wooster (Ohio) on John Makuvek Field to improve to 4-2 on the season. Donnelly took seven shots in the match with six on goal, and she added six draw controls, two ground balls and a caused turnover.
"In light of the current status of collegiate lacrosse, I'm beyond thrilled to see Megan receiving conference recognition for her performance last week," stated Head Coach Kristen Nicholson. "She has continued to improve game to game this season, and her performance against Wooster was the breakout we had been waiting for. I'm very excited to see what the future holds for her career as a Greyhound."
At this time, Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Friday, April 10 in a Landmark Conference match versus Juniata College beginning at 1:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
